Michael Luigs, Founder/Chief Conservation Officer
A former professional pilot, Michael joined and expanded his family’s rural-property sales business in 1998. Concern over the pace of land fragmentation and the resulting loss of large ranches caused Michael to pioneer a different kind of real estate operation focused on keeping land intact. land/water/sky has successfully demonstrated that good works can be profitable! Michael has recent experience on the board of directors of a publicly-traded corporation and was involved in the startup phase at Bandera Grasslands Beef, a natural, pasture-to-plate ranching operation that has demonstrated environmental sustainability and profitability. Michael is a graduate of the University of North Dakota.
